Join us for 3 fun-filled, adventures in our "Animated Oceans" program.
Aquarium of the Bay has just opened its doors to the Bay Theater, located adjacent to its entrance on PIER 39. The 270-seat Bay Theater boasts a 1,000 square foot full production stage, as well as a café and lounge area. This multi-use space can be rented for private and corporate meetings and events, as well as live music performances and entertainment.

The Aquarium will continue to serve as a voice for the San Francisco Bay by hosting a full line-up of daily film programs and an array of special events. Daily film programs will feature award-winning documentaries, animated shorts and beyond, on ocean-lover favorite topics including sharks, whales, surfing, marine life conservation and San Francisco Bay ecology.

The Bay Theater will also continue to serve as the venue of the San Francisco Ocean Film Festival, North America’s premier cinemaquatic event. All proceeds from ticket sales and special events rentals will support the conservation work led by Aquarium of the Bay and its partner organization, The Bay Institute.
