Make a splash at your next event by hosting it at Aquarium of the Bay.  

Your guests will have the opportunity to discover the spectacular marine life of San Francisco Bay as they enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in one of the city's most unique venues.

The Aquarium can accommodate up to 550 people for cocktails, or 120 for a sit down dinner.

Full Aquarium Events

Full aquarium events have a natural flow that starts in our "Discover the Bay"  exhibition, where guests can sip cocktails and enjoy hors d'oeuvres while exploring the delicate ecosystems that provide sanctuary for a myriad of aquatic life.

Next stop is an undulating exhibit of graceful jellies, then a stroll through two crystal clear tunnels that are home to over 20,000 marine animals. In the first tunnel, your guests will see Giant Sea Bass and be mesmerized by schools of fish as they form ever-changing patterns. 

After a stop by our Giant Pacific Octopus grotto, your guests will move on to the second tunnel where our ginormous sevengill sharks -- the Bay's largest predators -- are always a conversation starter! 

Events continue into the PG&E Bay Lab, where guests will meet colorful land animals, and touch sharks, rays, skates and sea stars in a re-creation of California's rocky shoreline.  

Always included in a Full Aquarium rental, our Farallon Room is the perfect setting for sit down dinners, presentations or continuation of the cocktail hour.

Farallon Room

Included in full Aquarium rentals, our Farallon Room can also be rented as a separate venue for meetings, elegant cocktail receptions or dinner parties.  With access to our East Deck, the Farallon Room offers panoramic views of San Francisco Bay and the city skyline -- a view that is sure to enchant your guests. 

The Farallon Room can be sectioned off into two separate rooms to accommodate smaller events.
