Self-Guided Tours
For groups that only have a short time to visit, a self-guided Aquarium tour is the best option. Self-guided tours are flexible and give your group an awe-inspiring look at the life of San Francisco Bay.
Program Length: 45 minutes to 1 hour
Days Offered: Monday –Friday, September 18, 2012 – June 7, 2013
Times Offered: Tours are spaced 15-20 minutes apart throughout the day starting at 10:00 AM
Number of Participants: Limit 42 participants (students plus teachers/chaperones) per tour. Minimum chaperone to student ratio of one chaperone to five students. Groups larger than 42 participants will be split into smaller groups and tour start times will be scheduled in adjacent time slots.
Important information regarding reservations for the 2012-2013 school year:
- Email Mayra@bay.org or fax 415-623-5324. Reservations via phone are no longer accepted.
- All Reservation Request Forms must be submitted a minimum of 3 weeks prior to your trip date
- For the Remainder of the 2012-2013 school year, all Exploration Tours are reserved. There is still availability for Self-Guided Tours.
