As the world gathers in the UAE for the historic United Nations COP28 Climate Summit in December 2023, a Climate Concert will be held at Dubai Opera in solidarity with the message of Sustainability and Climate Resilience hosted by San Francisco based non-profit BayEcotarium jointly with UNCCD. The BayEcotarium is in the transformation stages into the world’s most comprehensive data driven living climate museum.

Multiple Grammy Winners led by the legendary founder and drummer of THE POLICE band, Stewart Copeland will be performing multi-platinum hits in orchestral renditions (POLICE DERANGED) with Dubai-based Firdaus all-female Orchestra. UN Goodwill ambassador and 3X Grammy Winner Dr. Ricky Kej will take the stage with award-winning talent to engage the audience with a musical tribute to our Blue Planet, Climate Change mitigation and Global Peace, as part of the Opening Act. Featured appearances would include Anuradha Juju and Master of Ceremonies Tariq Qureishy and BBC Anchor Lukwesa Burak.

RESONANCE with nature is the existential need of our lifetimes and beyond. Music is the universal language that speaks to our hearts and resonates with our souls.

The BayEcotarium is the largest non-profit watershed organization in San Francisco with seven institutions and a staff of 200, united under one mission to protect and conserve the San Francisco Bay Area ecosystems. Human impact, pollution, climate and environmental changes have put a strain on the ecological balance, prompting advocacy and awareness towards preserving the natural environment for future generations.
